Me and katie do lots of work on science projects and her is some of own log book!!!
Why we chose this question?
We were sitting in the kitchen, trying to think about a question for our science project, We had a millen question but none of them was good enuf. One of our question were about to do was how much power does a classroom use in a day? We thought NO we need to think deeper. We looked at the kitchen bench and saw an apple sitting in the fruit bowl. We should do something about apples because apples are so delicious, tasty, healthy and fruity. Ohhh, we should do the question How many seeds are in an average apple?. Thats a great idea!!!!!!!!!!
Day:1 24/7/2017 Question and Hypothesis:
We Imagine…
The majority children in our class will prefer apples with no seeds. The older varieties of apples will have more seeds because the newer varieties have been modified to have less seeds because that’s what people prefer.
We would believe that the smaller apple such as Rocket apples and crab apples would have less space to have seed in them while the bigger apples like granny smith and royal gala has larger space in them to have more seeds.
Question: How many seeds are in an average apple?
Also I learned lots of thing at netball finals, where our netball team the giants came second in the second grace. It was out of hawke's bay and we still came second. The revts were very good like sliver fern levels, so, so tuf. we lost the game be we still made came second and we had lots of fun so that what counts
