Week 8 2017

This week Me, Meaghan and Taylor are doing a diary entry, here it is Dear Diary,

Ireland Belfast,

1st April 1912

Day 1

Hey Journal,

Maya here, Today I flew a plane for the first time, one of the first models ever, I was so scared! But I got the hang of it pretty quickly! We got there in under 1 hour with stops in different areas along the way but it didn't matter I was going to Ireland. The kingdom of booze and ruined castles, I am 16 going on to 17. After the plane, I am going on the Titanic.  I heard that the Titanic take 3,000 men and two years to complete. I can’t wait to go to Ireland and see all the stunning places, pretty Views, and beautiful castle ruins. So as I looked at the amazing view…

I was so excited I would be landing in Northern Ireland, Belfast at 6:15 pm in  5-10 minutes. I could not believe my eyes I was in a beautiful countryside garden it was raining so I quickly ran over to a tree to shield myself from the rain,  I noticed a little stone on the ground. I picked it up and put it in my pocket, even right now as I lay in a hotel bed, I still have no idea what makes it so peculiar. After the rain stopped I walked into the village that was just a mile or so north no one comes down this side of the country so I left my plane under the tree till its owner came to pick it up, after I got to the village I booked a room in this hotel…

2nd April 1912

Day 2

Hey Journal

It’s Maya here, I had the most amazing day in the village, going shopping, eating food, what I girl would ever dream off in a day, it was the best. Along the way, I meet a really nice person called Molly. I had a cup of tea with my new friend, It was delightful. She was talking about her husband coming back from the war and it was such a good story but I had to admit It nearly made me cry happy tears and she was also talking about a big rumor that  R. Norris Williams is going on the Titanic, I don’t know how she knew that but I am glad that she did. Oh R. Norris Williams is a famous tennis player if you didn’t know.

I slowly walked back to my hotel, seeing all the birds tweeting their heart out and the tree moving in the wind it made me feel like this was a good day!!!

I went to bed thinking if the amazing day that I had, meeting Molly, Going shopping, eating food, yea it was a pretty good day.

3rd April 1912

Day 3

Hey Journal

Maya here, Today was rough…. I went to a recommended dairy to get an ice cream, It was so good! But they a flock of birds came over to me when I was sitting in the park watching the sunset when I noticed a man walking a dog. The dog looked confused and misplaced, I thought awww, until I realized the man hit the dog if it didn’t do something perfect like sit, walk to perfection like every little thing was criticized and put down. The poor dog was trying it’s hardest to be the best it could be but the owner almost put stupid actions in its mouth making every movement the dog did a disappointment to the owner and he would hit the dog with full force… I just stood there breathless, I followed the man without a care in the world what danger I was in, finally I saw my chance he tied the dog uptight to playground pole and the stranger  went into the male restroom, I ran to the pole untying knot as fast as possible, all I remember is running with the dog towards the hotel, that dog is with me now sitting on my bed and I know that was one of the first times it wagged it tail in a very long time. Do I regret it, ha, never?

Day 4

Hey Journal

Maya here, today I went to the zoo with Molly and I was so thrilled to see all the animals, I saw  lions, Bears, Giraffes, Pandas, Tigers, Sloths, flamingos and much more animals, My favourite  animal the pigeon, I love the way it flaps its wings softy in the breeze. Ohh there was a dreadful accident, Molly got bitten by a parakeet. She said it didn’t hurt but I am certain that it did.

After Molly and I looked at all the animals. We went to this delightful cafe, right next to the zoo. That was a rainforest cafe. We had to bring an umbrella into the cafe because it was raining. The food was so delicious and looked really appetizing. I walked home with my black umbrella in one hand and my handbag in the other and got into the hotel and had a jolly good sleep.

Day 5  

Hey Journal

Maya here, Today I have arranged to visit the beach with my friend Molly. It was a very sunny day and the tide was perfect for swimming. I thought we might as well go swimming before it starts to rain again. The water was warm or maybe that was because of the old hairy man next to me CLEARLY PEEING! So I drifted away slowly watching him close his eyes and embrace the warm pee floating around him.

Christmas for everyone

Me, Taylor, Meaghan, Lily.F and Katie are doing a workshop in rm 21, where we give people shoe boxes of present. We are going to give this present to places in Hawes bay like Flaxmere and more. To fundraise, we are going to sale goodie like cupcakes and brownies. Here is a presentation about christmas for everyone

Lily: and I am Lily  

Welcome to the LJ’s  weathers show, where we tell the new and weather and tells jokes at the same time.  

Lily: That’s right, Jemma

Jemma: Now let's get onto the weather, Oh Wait Lily guess what!

Lily: What?

Jemma: We Don't need to do the weather anymore cause how can other people find out the weather  if we don’t do the weather

Lily: Oh I know!! Go outside and Lookup, Hahaha, but let's do the weather report anyway!

Jemma:Ok

Lily: Today is going to be a whopping 800 c for the whole of venus, so when you go to the bread shop today you won't need to put the bread in the toaster!

Jemma: Haha good one, anyway in the afternoon about 1 o'clock the acid clouds are going to come down to the ground to make orange fog

Lily: The last time it was foggy I tried to grab it but I mist

Jemma: HAHAHAHA

Lily: The wind, on the other hand, is the thing you should watch out for, the wind speed was predicted to reach 640 km/hour at its peak, calming down in the late afternoon to night reaching its lowest point at 355 km/hour.

Jemma: Well that’ll be a bit breezy, but On the good side there will be no rainfall all week.

Lily: For the rest of the week it will be the same except it will only get as hot as 736c

Jemma: Now the weather report is finished so we are out!!

Lily Yeah I agree bye everyone and this is a 5-star weather show btw

Materials Technology key tag

This week I have learned how to play volleyball and it is really fun to play. Also, I have written a thing on the terrorist attack in new york here is the writing 

In new york city there has been a terrorist attack 1/11/17 which was yesterday.

The new york terrorist attacker killed eight people. In the new, it said that the terrorist attack was proud of killing the people

and doesn't regret it at all. The

terrorist attacker is Saudi Arabia, also  There was a  childhood friends from

Argentina had been planning the trip to New York City for years.

Learning term 4

This week the whole class has the do a timetable what we want to do for term 4. Also in P.E, we are training for athletes, we have practice long jump, Shot Putt and Voltex. We still need to do high jump, discus and running. 

In summer hockey, on Wednesday, it was our first game and our team (whites). I had never played hockey before but I still managed to score a goal. We were verses rep people so we lost 24 to 2. But the main thing is that we tried and had lots of fun. 

I and Taylor write about the A&P show for writing. In math, I learned how to do remainders.
