Week 9 term 2

I learned how to use speech mark creatly in a story, here is my story

All family is different in their own way. You probably think that my family follows rules all the time but that’s not my family. We have own up and downs all the time but we get right back up. Well, am going to tell you about a time when the rules didn't matter.

Me and my older sister Holly we told own gran that we were going for a walk. No way in own family we were just going for a walk, the rules tures was that we were going to the supermarket to get some food but some food endi up to $30 worth of food. Gran different find out by when dad checks the website to see how much money we spend. Oh, Holly gets this credit card that mum gave to her so she says it is her but it is mum. Anyway when we got home in gran and grandad places. Dad came home about 5 minutes after as and said “ Why on my computer it says that Holly credit card has lost $30 from the Wellington supermarket?” said dad.

“Hmmmmmm I don’t know,” I said. “ok I do now me and Holly spend the money on food because I was really hungry.

“I thought you were going for a walk to the beach and back,” Gran said worried.

“sorry,” Holly said.

“Don’t do that again?” dad said

“We won't,” Holly said

Then everyone flops on the couch and standed watching T.V.

Week 8 term 2

This week I have learned about adding fractions together, I learned that there is a new thing that is called daily 8 where you have to do 8 things every day that are ReadTheory, PIE Writing/ Reading, Maths Buddy, Read to yourself, Maths with someone, Seesaw post and comment, Math Quiz and Spelling test/ Literacy Games.

Also, I learned how to scamper something and I scamper my Cat called Ever.

    

Week 7 term 2

This is my writing on gymnastics part two!!!

The break was over, I was ready for the vault and the beam. First was vault, vault is a really simple thing. All you have to do is run as fast as you can, bruce on the vault and then do whatever you want. You sure know by now that I will put my hands up the say I am ready. I run as fast as I can, bruce of the vault, flipped, then I landed and putted my hands up to say I’m done. I that simple.

Next was the beam, I love the beam it is so fun. I watched some other people on the beam that were before me and then were so, so good that just makes me try harder.

You know want come first, putting my hand up to say I’m ready. I put my hands on the beam and lefed myself up onto the beam. Then I standed up and chasa across the beam 3 times, split leap, after that a half turn on one foot, then I did a cartwheel on the beam,then I did a tuck jump and my finish move a round off the beam. I was so proud of myself as I put my heads up the say I am done.

Now I am going the tell you about, how they judge everyone. So first they put everyone in groups of four, you do your rowten by yourself, for vault, beam, bar and floor they score everyone in your group out of 10 and they put all of your score together and the highest score gets a gold medal for your team. Sliver for the 2 highest and bronze for the 3 highest.This was over 50 groups and some was high school people. My group had  people the same age as me.

When they were about to say how got bronze my heart was pounding, our team didn't think we would get anything. They were getting the silver medals out and my heart was pounding even Greta harvey, Jemma Renwick….” said the judges. When I heard my name I was so excited. I walk up pround was my group. I felt like I was at the olympics,  I wanted to see our got gold so I listened hard.” Tayla Hook…”.

“Yay Tayla got the gold” I said. Now I felt I can do anything.

                       

Week 6 term 2

This is my Pie writing on gymnastics part one.

As I walk onto the gymnastics floor I felt my heart pounding. I think what if they don’t like my routine or what if the audience laugh at me? Or What if I don’t land me…?

As I look at Mum, Dad and Holly saying “ Go Jemma” I think everything will be alright.

First I put my hand up to say that I’m ready and off I went. I did a round off then after a fastback walkover. I turned and did a full turn, then a walkover. I did I side way casa. After that, I did a one handed cartwheel, then a handstand. The next thing I did was a tuck jump and the finishing move was a handspring into splits. I put my hands up to say that I’m done.

Next was bar my worst enemy, I have always hated bar. Once my friend was on the high bar swinging and swinging, she flew off leading face first - she was in tess that one of the raisins I hate bar the other Risin is because I am really bad at bar but anyway.

Once again I put my hand up to say that I’m ready to start. First I put my hands on the bar and then I jump up on the small bar, swung two times then I did a forward flip and landed and I put my hand up the stay I’m done.

I watched my friend Tayla Hook on the bar and she is amazing, much better than me but I’m going to do my best and hope for the best. We had a 5-minute break so everyone can have a drink of water.

 

   

 

      

Week 4 term 2

This week I learned what my goals are they are understanding the text that I'm reading and reading and writing decimals. I also learned that I can get into full.

I also learned that I can dance contemporary. I learned all about healthy foods that sugar fat and salt are really bad for everyone.

I also learned that I can make a rocky road in ovenless awesomeness. Next time I am going to make something in room 17.

I learned how to write pie writing and it is so fun. I learned how to do lots of dance moves that Katie and Ana tort me.

As we step in the car everyone was bursting with excitement. When we were driving the Adele. Adele music was blowing my ears off when Holly was playing Adele music in the car. The hotel that me, Holly, My mum, Annie and her Mum, Margo, Mila and her mum stayed in was the biggest hotel I have ever been in.

Every night at 11:30 we were in the hotel's pool, out eating food or just having lots of fun. On the way in there were so many people trying to sell t-shirt that had Adele's face on it and words on the back that are things like her signature.  

Adele's consent I will never forget. It had everything light, firework, an amazing stage. When she came on the stage all you can hear is fan screaming their heads off. She was so funny and had a cool voice as well.

The food there was amazing and cool, the drink was tasty as well.

We had to go on a train to get to Adele consent and we got a train to come back to the hotel. It was a special train that was free for all the people that were going to Adele and the train was backed was people.

2 people started to play so Adele music and everyone on the train started to sing and dance. When the door open and more people walk in they were so confused what everyone was doing.    

The consent ended at 12:00 pm, and the time that we got back to the grand hotel was 2:00 in the morning. Everyone just flopped on our beds and when to sleep very quick!!!!

The next day we went to a Lollie shop that had really weird things like duck feet covered in chocolate and hot, spicy marshmallows. On the way back we got some yummy mummy's cheesecakes and they were delicious.Well, that is it, I hope you now want to get to Adele.
