Week 9

This week all of the class is doing a challenge that you have to look after an egg and make sure you do not crack them. The rule of the game is that you have to make a house for your egg and a name also if you crack your egg you're out but if someone else cracks your egg then they have to give you their egg and they will be out of the challenge. Also, you have to make a birth certificate, a story and a family tree

My egg is called Adele Jemma Renwick and its birthday. I called it that because my name is Jemma and my last name is Renwick so I put my name and my last name in her name also I came up with Adele because I just came back from Adele profaneness in Auckland and I needed a name for my egg so my mum said "Maybe, Adele" and I said "yup that is a great name".

We learned how to line dance and this is what you do so first you put you right leg out and lean your weight onto your foot then step forward 2 times and lots there is more step but I do not know how tip it       

        

         

Week 8

This week I learned that I go to choir every Wednesday at 11:10 and my guitar is at 11:15 also on Wednesday so I miss some choir but I think that it is fine. Also, I learn the Maori action for the nation anthem in kapa haka, there quick easy to learn.The class made a Prezi on sir Edmund Hillary and it's cool because no one used Prezi before. I and Taylor made an inquiry on books. 

   

Week 7

This week I have learned how to play D, Bm, A, Em, E7, G and much more on the guitar and also I can play some of 8 days a week for the beadles. Guitar is so fun I do guitar on Wednesday at 11:15.There is about 7 people in my guitar group and I only know one of them but that mean that I can make a new friend.The guitar teacher is so, so good he can play so much song that I can't even think of playing but that make it cool.

I also learn how to use trading in math to make the problem ever for everyone.

Week 6

This week I  have learned that there is a website called ka hoots that you can do quizzes and the quizzes are so easy to make all you have to do is think of question and think of 3 wrong answers and 1 correct answers. You can do as many questions as you want. Also, you can put a photo in and I tricked the people and put a random photo in that is a picture or the wrong answer.

I also learned in electronics how to make a light and I made 5 LED to glow up. I think that tech is really fun because you can do so much think like make pizza, Make lights, Do drama, make things like key rings, do science and that is only the year sevens.The year eight do so much more.

There are games in drama class and it is so fun there are lots of games.

My light needed to be portable, durable and bright. I used a 9-volt battery and corflute folded into a triangle to protect the circuit.

Week 5

I learned how to get a question like why are softballs hard. I brainstorm it then researched it and put the research in a presentation. What I found I put on a presentation which is called an inquiry. Me, Taylor and Katie are doing our inquiry on animal cruelty and our question is what is the most common reason that people neglect their pets? 

My learning goals in writing are to use speech marks in my story. My 2 learning goals for maths are to add/sub with renaming and also 3 decimal places. My learning goal for P.E is to throw a cricket ball with my weak foot forward.

Also, I learned how to throw a softball right and the bat in softball. My team in softball is called the honey badgers and I am on of the only year 7 in the team.We practice every Thursday at 3:15 to 4:15 and our game is on Saturday.

And I learned how to be a base in cheerleading. If you don't know what a base is it is a person that lifts up the flyer in the air and there are 2 bases, 1 flyer, 1 back base and one front base.I do cheer learning at lunchtime every Thursday.
